Negatives and Slides
Use for records where negatives and slides is the primary reusable classification concept. This category is intended for repeated archival assignment across many assets, entities, or collections rather than for a single named record.
Usage
Assign to photographic negatives, slide transparencies, mounted slides, or image originals used for reproduction, projection, or preservation.
Exclusions
Do not use for finished prints, film reels, video recordings, or digitized derivatives when the original object is not a negative or slide.
