Account status

كيف does not ask visitors to sign in before they can read Egypt.

The public site is built around the museum itself: records, identities, source context, maps, timelines, collections, and correction pathways. كيف keeps login out of the first reading experience so Egypt can be entered directly, through the archive, before personal tools are layered in.

Access Public browse, search, read, and correct without sign-in

Visitor pathways

Begin with the museum, not with an account gate.

These public routes already cover the first acts most visitors need: reading records, following authored paths, searching names, and returning evidence back into the museum's care.

Browse the archive Return to the archive

Begin with published assets, identity pages, categories, and collections across Egypt's public archive.

Follow a known clue Search كيف

Search people, places, objects, source notes, and bilingual titles when memory begins with one trace.

Follow curatorial paths Explore paths

Use collections and exhibitions when you want an authored route through records rather than a single search result.

Strengthen a record Suggest a correction

Send evidence for Details, Context, or Connections updates when you can help a public page read more clearly.

Current access

Public access stays open

Use كيف without signing in. Public records and reading paths remain available to visitors, researchers, families, and partners.

Editorial access

Separate editorial entrance

Publishing, review, and permissioned editorial work live in the editorial desk, not on this public-facing page.

What this means

Personal accounts belong to a later layer, not to the museum's first invitation.

كيف's public pages should feel complete without login prompts. Visitors should be able to read records, follow Details / Context / Connections, inspect source notes, and move through bilingual routes before account features ever become necessary.

When visitor accounts arrive, they should support private memory work such as saved lists and personal folders without altering the core public model of Assets, Entities, Categories, and Collections. A saved list is personal; a public Collection record is a shared curatorial path.

Account roadmap

What exists now, and what still belongs to a later layer

Public museum first

كيف now prioritizes reading, discovery, bilingual context, and editorial trust before it adds personal visitor tools.

Editorial roles stay separate

Publishing, review, permissions, and AI suggestion workflows remain inside the editorial desk rather than on the public museum site.

Personal memory tools come later

Saved records, private visitor lists, and personal folders can be added once the public museum is fully stable. They should never be mistaken for public Collection records.

No visitor sign-in required

Visitors can browse assets, identity pages, categories, collections, maps, timelines, and exhibitions without creating an account.

كيف

A living digital museum of Egypt and its connected horizons, where materials, people, places, and events meet through layered relations so public memory can be read with greater depth.

Each record carries its own source trail, rights context, and editorial confidence. Read with care before reuse, quotation, or retelling.
